Seaside Sculpture Park
“Still Swimming” is a kinetic sculpture currently located in Jacksonville Beach. The sculpture depicts a fish skeleton and was inspired by the concept of life after death. As the wind blows, the ribs of the fish sway and portray the eternal spirit through sound and movement.
SR. SHOW FALL 2015
An autobiographical body of work that focuses on mental health and the development of compulsive personality disorders related to anxiety and stress. This series represents my personal struggle with Trich, and is designed to bring awareness to the importance of mental health.
This project was designed for Show Management and inspired by the South Florida boating lifestyle. The sculptural entrance way is 19ft. tall and 23 ft. wide. made of aluminum, steel, cement and vinyl canvas. The canvas are interchangeable and can be customized to any event.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Emily Pinnell is a local artist from Lighthouse Point, FL. She studied Graphic Design, Printmaking, and Ceramics at the University of North Florida before deciding to pursue a degree in Sculpture. She graduated from UNF with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts with a focus in Sculpture.
